I am currently seeking an intern for the 2017 wedding season. You will be working along side of me assisting and shooting at my weddings. You must have a serious interest in photography, own a dSLR (preferably Canon), have a full understanding of how to operate manually, be creative, professional yet assertive and most importantly be reliable. You must also be able to commit to at least one to two Saturdays per month or more during the Summer, 8-10 hour shifts. Knowledge of Lightroom and Photoshop a must. The internship is unpaid but will open up to a paid second shooter position to the right person.
So tell me about yourself. Show me your work. What experience have you had? Why should you be selected?
To apply email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Application Deadline is Friday, March 31st
In the next few weeks I will be conducting interviews and setting up trial sessions, this is the best way to learn if we're a match.
Last month I had the pleasure of photographing the Beckert Wedding at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Amanda and Ben traveled all the way from Texas to be married in the same church his parents had been married some decades ago. The day was a beautiful mix of sun, rain clouds and storms but most of all, just happy. If you enjoy these images, please feel free to share as I am opening my calendar for weddings the remainder of 2016 and 2017.
